Centreside Dairy ’80, home of Tracey’s Ice Cream, is our manufacturing facility located in Renfrew, Ontario. It was constructed in 1935 as a fluid milk production facility with an addition added in 1940 to dry milk for skim milk powder during the Second World War.
The Tracey Family purchased the facility in June of 1980 to convert it into an ice cream and frozen yogurt manufacturing facility.
Currently owned and operated by Mark Tracey and his wife, Melany, the dairy specializes in premium quality ice creams under the Tracey’s Ice Cream brand and sells to clients all over Canada. For over 30 years, the Tracey family has been delivering the highest quality Old Fashioned Ice Cream in the Ottawa Valley, using real cream and only the freshest ingredients to create an unparalleled ice cream experience.
We have utilized our extensive knowledge and experience in the ice cream industry in the creation of our products. Each line and flavour is executed to deliver an experience that speaks to each customer individually. With over 50 flavours available across our product lines, we are sure to have something everyone can enjoy.
For customers more interested in an economy line of ice cream, best suited for parties and food service, we offer our Valley Boys brand. It is available in 2.6L and 11.4L containers and is still made in the traditional way using real cream and vat pasteurizing and exceeds the minimum requirements for butterfat and total solids as regulated by the Federal Government.
Centreside Dairy ’80 also manufactures many ice creams and frozen yogurts for other companies using their recipes and formulas. If you’re looking for a product using real cream, then Centreside is the manufacturing facility you need.
